Grace and peace to you from our Lord Jesus Christ.
'But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.' Throughout the letter to the Galatians Paul as spent a lot of time talking about the Law. This is not surprising since the Law was at the center of the Jewish faith. Here Paul mentions the Law one more time saying that living by the fruits of the Spirit is more important than living by the Law. The Law wants us to live by a set of rules and regulations, living from the brain, if you will. The Spirit wants us to live by our faith, from our heart if you will. Do not worry about following every aspect of the Law, says Paul. Instead, live by the Spirit, live the life of Jesus. Forget the Law, follow the Spirit. God bless you,
Pastor Josh
