Grace and peace to you from our Lord Jesus Christ.
"And the LORD remembered her." I think you will notice a theme in the OT: that of women who were barren being given children. However, that is only part of the theme. The children, sons I should say, that are born are used by God for great things. Samuel is one of the great prophets of Israel, and he is used by God to annoint the great king of Israel, David. What we learn when we look at Samuel is a) God is present and active in the world, in the lives of his people and b) God uses his servants for great things. We need to remember these things at Mt. Lebanon Christian Church. We need to remember that God does amazing things in the world, and he will for our church. We also need to remember that we are all servants of God; we need to be ready to serve him whatever he may ask of us. God bless you,
