Grace and peace to you from our Lord Jesus Christ.
What a prayer! I think we can all learn a little something from this. Hannah begins her prayer by rejoicing and saying how great the Lord is. Notice, too, that Hannah does not ask God for anything. In this prayer Hannah praises God and lists some of his attributes. A lot of prayer these days involves God asking for material things. It is ok to ask God for things. God wants to know what is on our hearts and what we need for this life. But prayer should also be about praising God. When we pray we need to make sure we spend a good amount of time in praise and thanksgiving for all God has done for us. Praise and thank God, for he is good. God bless you,
