Grace and peace to you from our Lord Jesus Christ.
One of the details that often gets lost in this parable is the fact that the Samaritan and the 'man going down from Jerusalem to Jericho' are mortal enemies (due to religious disputes between the two religious/cultural groups). There are no words to describe the hatred they feel for each other. And yet, the Samaritan takes care of the man. Even though the victim is his enemy the Samaritan still cares for him when no one else would. The Samaritan loves someone he is supposed to hate. I wonder what the lesson for us is? God bless you.
