Grace and peace to you from our Lord Jesus Christ.
The good news: Jesus is alive. The bad news: the women are too afraid to tell anyone what they have seen. Obviously they eventually tell someone, as we are living proof that the news of Christ's resurrection reached other ears. However, we are still left stunned by the fear the followers of Jesus displayed on this day. They were so afraid they did not say anything to anyone. Are we going to do the same? Are we going to let our fear drive us: our fear of offending someone, of losing a friend, of being unpopular. We need to tell people about Jesus, especially about his resurrection. Do not let fear, or anything else, keep you from telling people about Jesus. God bless you.
