Grace and peace to you from our Lord Jesus Christ.
We come across this passage at a very significant time. This is Holy Saturday, the day our Lord Jesus spent in the grave. We have seen and heard all that has happened to him over the previous week and now we come across this passage in which Jesus is anointed, or worshiped. Take this day to praise, thank, and worship Jesus for what he has just done. Yesterday, he died on the cross that we might have salvation. Tomorrow, he is going to rise from the grave that we might have eternal life. Take this day to worship the King for what he has done, and is still, doing for us. God bless you.
