Grace and peace to you from our Lord Jesus Christ.
If there was ever a time when God would have been perfectly justified in turning away from the Israelites, this would have been it. God did and amazing thing for the Israelites in leading them out of Egypt. In their gratitude Israel made a golden calf and worshiped it, for they had lost their trust in the Lord. However, God did not turn away from Israel. Instead, he renewed his covenant with them and continued to have a special relationship with them. God shows us that same grace and love. We, at times, have turned from God for something/one else. And instead of turning away from us God has continued to welcome us into his arms; he has continued to show us that grace and love. What a God we have. God bless you.
