Grace and peace to you from our Lord Jesus Christ.
"Thou shall have no other gods before me." The word 'gods' does not only include those spiritual beings that may or may not exist. 'Gods' includes anything in our lives that we put before God. If anything gets in the way of our love for, or service to, God then we are having another god before God. We need to not do this. God is our center, he is our cornerstone. Everything we do should be done to the glory of God. Nothing should come before him. No matter what it is, or how much worth we think it holds we need to have no other gods before God. God bless you.
