Grace and peace to you from our Lord Jesus Christ.
God is our safe haven. Moses gave people some land that they could retreat to and be safe. That is one of the roles God plays for us. When we are feeling threatened; when we are feeling alone or abandoned; when we feel defeated we can go into the presence of the Lord and be lifted up. We can receive rest and protection that we need sometimes in our journey of faith. God provided for the Israelites 'cities of refuge' that they might be safe. God is our refuge and our strength; God is our city of refuge. God bless you.
