Grace and peace to you from our Lord Jesus Christ.
Jacob had a problem with forgiveness. I realize Laban was perhaps a little deserving of being cheated by Jacob, but Jesus says much later that we are to forgive 77 times. I think God wants that, too. Laban cheated Jacob, time and time again. And instead of forgiving Laban Jacob went and cheated him as well. When Jesus tells us to forgive someone 77 times he means it. No matter what anyone does to us we are commanded by Jesus to forgive them. This is a very hard thing to do, but if we are going to call ourselves disciples, those who follow Christ and his commands, we have to adhere to what Christ calls us to do: forgive. God bless you,
