For the Israelites in the Old Testament it was the Ark of the Covenant, for Christians it is the communion table. The point is this: a big part of worship is looking back to see what God has done for us in the past. This should not be limited to worship. God has done a lot for the world, but he has also done a lot for each of us as individuals. We need to take time to look back and see what God has done for us. Once we have done that, go and worship God. God bless you.
