'...so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many...' Jesus died on the cross for our sins. He died so we wouldn't have to die; he was punished so we wouldn't have to be. The only way for us to avoid punishment and receive salvation is to accept Jesus as personal Lord and Savior. Jesus has done everything for us. All we need to do is first get on, and second stay on, the path Jesus has laid out for us: the path of faith, which leads to salvation and eternal life. God bless you.
