God never gives up. In the Old Testament we see God do many things to try and get the attention of the Israelites: He delivers them from Egypt; He leads them to the Promised Land; He calls prophet after prophet to try and get them back on track. And when none of those things really worked, which is evidenced by the fact that Israel continued to lose their way, God sent Jesus, his one and only Son into the world to save the world. God could have given up on the world, he could have given up on the Israelites. God could have chosen to wash his hands of the whole thing. But he didn't. Instead, God sends Jesus. God never stops working for us. God bless you.
