"I have come to do your will, my God." Jesus was, and still is, perfectly obedient to the will of God. Jesus went to the cross, even though he did not want to (Father, let this cup pass from me). I died on the cross to forgive the world of sin because that is what God wanted him to do. No matter how hard it was Jesus went to the cross, in obedience to God. In all things we are to model our lives after Jesus. We are to follow his example and imitate him. Specifically, we are to model Jesus' obedience to God. We are called to follow God, to do his will, regardless of what that means for us in our own lives. Jesus came to do God's will. We are called to do the same. God bless you.
