Grace and peace to you from our Lord Jesus Christ.
"And after the fire came a gentle whisper." Stories like the burning bush are amazing. It is incredible to see how God moves and speaks to people throughout the Bible. The downside, though, is that we come to expect God to speak to us like that all the time. We expect God to get our attention in some totally unusual way. We look for a burning bush, or a fire, or a dove lightly descending from the heavens. More often that not, though, God's voice comes to us as a gentle whisper. God speaks. We need to open our ears. We need to stop looking in the wrong places and simply listen for God's voice. If we do we will hear that gentle whisper telling us what we need to hear. Listen. God bless you.
