Grace and peace to you from our Lord Jesus Christ.
In the beginning I'm sure Elijah sees the widow as his source of food. Not that he has anything against her, but in the beginning I am not sure there is much affection. In the end, though, Elijah comes to love the woman as a sister, and feels the same about her son, which is why Elijah intercedes so strongly on the sons behalf. We are all brothers and sisters in Christ. As such we should spend time in prayer, taking time to intercede for each other, just Elijah did for the widow's son. God bless you.
