A song of praise follows the passage about what the servant of the Lord is going to do. After the Israelites are told of the one who will come to open their eyes, etc. they offer to God a song of praise. This is a habit we should cultivate in our own lives. God does so much for us every day, and we should take time to thank him. For one thing it is a nice thing to do; to thank someone, God, for doing something nice. But this will also serve as a reminder for us that goodness comes from God. It will remind us of God's continual presence in our lives. Sing a song of praise for God, especially when God blesses you.
