'The grass withers, and the flowers fall, but the word of our God endures forever.' Arguably, one of my all-time favorite Bible verses. Why? Because it speaks to the eternity of God. God will always be here, which means a lot when we look at the world around us. Things change: people die, people move, wars start, land is destroyed, animals are wiped out. The world is not the same as it was 50 years ago, and the world will be vastly different 50 years from now. But in all of that there is God. He will endure forever. That is, or should be, a huge comfort for God's people. No matter what we see change one thing will never, ever, change: the presence and reality of God. God bless you.
