Grace and peace to you from our Lord Jesus Christ.
It is not always easy to listen to Jesus. He holds us accountable. He makes bold claims about who he is. He gives us commands which are not always easy to follow. When Jesus speaks, and he is still speaking, it is not always very easy to listen to what he has to say. That does not mean we should not listen. Even though it is difficult we should listen to Jesus because that is the only way we are going to have a faithful life. That is the only way we can be the people God wants us to be. Jesus' words are hard words, but we should heed them anyway. God bless you.
