Grace and peace to you from our Lord Jesus Christ.
Being God's servant is not an easy thing by any stretch of the imagination. We are called into God's service, which is a blessing, but some of the things that come along with that call are not a blessing. Things like beatings, imprisonments, sleepless nights, etc. all make for a very hard life. The good news is that the Lord is with us, giving us strength for all we endure. While we suffer hardships God is there with us helping us with what we need. The other good news is that we will be rewarded for our faithfulness. Someday we will hear those blessed words, 'Well done, good and faithful servant.' It is hard being God's servant. But we are blessed along the way with God's presence, and we are going to be blessed in the end with a place in God's kingdom. God bless you.
