Grace and peace to you from our Lord Jesus Christ.
The Old Covenant was a covenant of words, the Law, given through Moses to the people Israel. The New Covenant is one of love and Spirit, established through Jesus and sustained by the power of the Holy Spirit. The Old Covenant was a covenant of law, based around following a set of rules to achieve life. The New Covenant is a covenant of love, based on the love of God the Father and the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. The Old Covenant was not all inclusive, it was reserved for Israel alone. The New Covenant is all inclusive, the salvation Jesus offers is for everyone. We, as Christians, are ministers of the New Covenant. We are supposed to share with everyone the good news of the New Covenant; the New Covenant of the Spirit, Love, and Welcoming. God bless you.
