Grace and peace to you from our Lord Jesus Christ.
'Fool' here can be defined as someone who does not believe in God and who would like to bring others to that way of thinking. This definition is one that keeps this verse contextual for us. In other words, we all know people who fit this description. I would like to change this verse a little though to say that while we perhaps should not listen to them we should talk to them. We should talk to them, share with them the good news of Jesus, and try our very best to bring them to a life of faith. We must be careful to not be led astray, but that should not keep us from leading others to the way of God. God bless you.
