Grace and peace to you from our Lord Jesus Christ.
Faith is hard. In some ways it is the easiest thing in the world, but in many other ways it is the most difficult. What makes it difficult is that Christians continue to face all the things other people face in life. Temptation is the most troublesome of these. We are faced with temptation on a daily basis. For some it is food, for others sexual temptation, for others still money and material possessions. Whatever it is there is no doubt that temptation plagues us all. With that in mind we need to be watchful. We need to open our eyes and look to Jesus who managed to conquer temptation. Since Jesus was able to do that, we are as well. By the grace of Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit we are able to resist temptation when it comes into our lives. Be watchful, look to Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith.
