Grace and peace to you from our Lord Jesus Christ.
The journey of faith has a lot of twists and turns; and there are some deep dark valleys. It is pretty easy to get lost and turned around on our journey of faith. And there are also a lot of opportunities for us to get off the journey of faith. The good news about that is not that Jesus will be waiting for us when we decide to get back on the journey of faith (or, after being lost, we find our way). The good news is that if we abandon the journey of faith, or simply get lost, Jesus will come looking for us. Jesus is not sitting idly by waiting for us to get back on the path, he comes, seeks us out, and actively helps us get back on that journey of faith.
