Luke 13: 31-36; Jesus' Sorrow for Jerusalem

Grace and peace to you from our Lord Jesus Christ.

It is good news for us that Jesus never stopped doing his work. He is warned here not to enter Jerusalem (not to mention all the predictions Jesus made himself). But when Jesus is warned that Herod is going to kill him Jesus responds by saying, "I will drive out demons and heal people today and tomorrow, and on the third day I will reach my goal." Jesus was faced with adversity, which, at times, made his ministry very difficult. But Jesus was also faced with torture and death. But still he went on. Even though Jesus faced a pain we can never imagine he still went through with it for our sake. This is good news, Jesus' steadfastness. No matter what Jesus faced, he still continued his ministry. Praise God that Jesus never gave up. God bless you,

Pastor Josh
