Grace and peace to you from our Lord Jesus Christ.
Lip service is not quite enough to satisfy Jesus. When Jesus tells us to live a holy life he wants us to actually do it. When Jesus tells us to turn from sin into a new life with him he wants us to really turn around. There were those in the time of Jesus who were only acting as though they were living a holy life. There were those who heard what Jesus said about holiness and repentance who did not really implement those things into their lives. Jesus is stronly reiterating his desire for us to repent and turn from sin. Jesus wants us to be holy, and he has told us as much. If we claim to have faith, but do not act as though we do, our faith is dead. True repentance is not just belief, it is action. Remember the words of Jesus repent and turn from sin into a new and holy life with Jesus. God bless you,
