There is darkness in the world, and sometimes we are drawn to it. Just like bugs are attracted to light we sometimes find ourselves attracted to the dark things of this world. We go there in an attempt to fill the void in our lives, but when we turn to these things we find there is only more darkness. In those times, though, there is light at the end of the tunnel. When we find ourselves in the darkness, surrounded by the blackest night, there is light shining to lead us home, and when we get home we will find the loving arms of God flung wide open to receive us. There is darkness, but it never lasts. Only God's light, his light of love, endures forever. God bless you.
