Poking the bear is a very real fear for the world. In this passage we are given an idea of what may happen to us if we continue to lay aside and let the world have its way: the world will be destroyed. While we will get to go to heaven, the destruction of the world will not be such a good thing. This is when we, as Christians, need to step in and steer the world back on course. It is up to us to make sure the world is not devastated by God. We know God's love, and his salvation, which have been given to us. We do not have to worry about being punished. But the rest of the world may. And we need to make sure that does not happen. God bless you.
