I like the first couple verses of this chapter the best because they highlight a problem that all of us seem to have at one time or another: we make our own plans. 'I know the plans I have for you,' says the Lord. God has plans, and his plans are better. God's plans are the ones to which we should listen. We do not need to make our own plans. That shows a lack of trust in God. Rather, we should turn our lives completely over to God and allow him to lead us down the right path. He will not lead us astray. God bless you.
