2 Corinthians 4: 1-18; Treasures in Jars of Clay

Grace and peace to you from our Lord Jesus Christ.

Like jars of clay we are molded into who God wants us to be. God is active. He reaches into our lives and continues to change us. In the beginning the jar is a pile of clay. There is no shape or form, there is no life or beauty. Slowy the potter works at the jar and in the end the jar is beautiful. In the end the jar is useful for something. The clay, over a period of time, is molded to make a jar. In the same way, God molds us. We are, in the beginning, not much to speak of. But over time God works on us. He uses his hands, he uses his feet, he uses everything he has to make us into a jar. Now we are ready. We are ready to be the people God wants us to be. We are ready to be used by God for something great. Are you allowing God to mold you in the right way? God bless you.
