Grace and peace to you from our Lord Jesus Christ.
Through communion we become a part of Jesus. As we partake of his body and blood we are joined with him. This is good news for us as it means we are then entitled to the inheritance Christ has received as the Son of God. But there is also a call here. As we are united to Christ that means we are responsible for continuing the ministry that Christ started. We are to continue doing what Christ did when we walked this earth: care for the sick, spend time with the lost, preach the gospel, etc. Jesus did so many wonderful things in his ministry and he helped so many people. Through communion we are reminded of our call as Christians to continue the ministry that Jesus started. God bless you.
