The scripture text for this Sunday is Matthew 4: 12-23, in which Jesus begins his teaching and preaching ministry after John the Baptist is thrown into prison. My sermon title is 'Spread the Word,' and it will focus on the message of Jesus that the kingdom of God is near, who that message is for, and how we are to go out and preach the good news.
