Grace and peace to you from our Lord Jesus Christ.
It is easy sometimes to forget who Jesus is. We get so busy with all the things going on in our lives that we don't always remember Jesus, and that he is the Holy One of God. We get so caught up with who is right and who is wrong that we forget that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God. But let us remember that even the evil spirits whom Jesus encountered knew who he was. They knew who Jesus was and what he could do. In our world of the internet and other sources of information and 'fulfillment' let us remember who Jesus is and why he came here. He is none other than the Messiah, the one who has come to save us from sin. This brief passage in Luke is, among other things, a subtle reminder that Jesus is the Holy One of God.
