Grace and peace to you from our Lord Jesus Christ.
We learn from this that it is not just what we do that matters, it is also what we think. We need to make sure we are living holy lives, but we also need to make sure we are thinking holy thoughts. That is where our holiness starts, from thinking the right way. Jesus tells us that if our hand causes us to sin we are to cut it off. To be sure, we cannot cut out our minds, but we do need to make sure our minds stay pure, as well as our bodies, that we can move closer to being the people God wants us to be. God bless you.
