Isaiah 3: 1- 4: 1; Judgment on Jerusalem and Judah

Grace and peace to you from our Lord Jesus Christ.

Confession. Confession is a word that crosses my mind when I read these verses. Not only confession, but also accountability. Israel's biggest problem is that they do not believe they have sinned. They have fooled themselves into thinking they are doing right. Haughty is used in this passage. In other words, arrogant. This is a lesson that translated almost perfectly to today's world. We need to confess. We need to come to God, in prayer, and tell him of our sins. We need to lay it all down before the king. We have sinned. We need to confess, for if we don't the cross becomes meaningless. Why would Jesus have died if we didn't him to do so? Confess your sins to God and then be assured of his love and mercy. He has forgiven all of us already, before we even committed the sin. God bless you.
