Grace and peace to you from our Lord Jesus Christ.
Our enemies surround us, and even though it may not be up to us to judge them, that does not mean we have to sit idly by and let them harm us. God does not want us to suffer, he does not want our enemies to rise up against us. And so we pray to God. We pray that he will be there for us and with us while we face our enemies. We pray that God will deliver us from those evil hands. God wants our lives to be good, and so we are allowed (and encouraged) to pray for deliverance from enemies, from those who sin against us.
