Grace and peace to you from our Lord Jesus Christ.
Jesus is the fulfillment of the Law and Prophets. Jesus lived a perfect life, the kind of life God had in mind when he gave the Law to the Israelites. Since Jesus fulfilled the Law we do not have to follow those rigid commandments anymore. Jesus has freed us from the Law. He is also the fulfillment of the Prophets: Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, etc. all spoke of the Messiah who would come and redeem the world. Jesus is that one. He came here to give us life. Jesus is the word, or promises of God, fulfilled. Rejoice in this good news. We are free from the Law. And we have the salvation we need in our lives. God bless you.
