Grace and peace to you from our Lord Jesus Christ.
Once again we find these words that 'everyone did as he saw fit.' What a sad time it must have been to not have had a king. Israel here is living without that guidance and direction and leadership they need. During this season of Christmas we celebrate our King, Jesus. Jesus is our guidance, he is our direction, he our leadership. Jesus is our strength, our peace, our salvation. We are not living without a king. We do not do as we see fit. Jesus is our king; we follow him and do as he sees fit. This is a blessing for us, and during this season of Advent we celebrate the birth of our King. Praise be to God for Jesus Christ, our Lord and King. God bless you.
