Grace and peace to you from our Lord Jesus Christ.
A desire for vengeance and anger. Those emotions, and the actions that sometimes come from those emotions, are not consistent with the kind of life God wants us to live. Samson, while he feels justified himself, does not reflect the faith he has in his heart. He continually causes trouble for the Philistines because he feels wronged in some way. Instead of praying for the Philistines, though, Samson acts in vengeance and anger, rather than in mercy and love. Being a child of God is never an easy thing because we are faced with the same things with which everyone else is faced. However, in those times when we find ourselves in situations where we could get angry we need to remember Jesus and our call to act with love, and not vengeance. "Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you." God bless you.
