Grace and peace to you from our Lord Jesus Christ.
One of the common themes that runs throughout Deuteronomy, and Joshua, is how the Lord gives the Israelites strength to defeat other armies that are far superior. Time and again the Israelites are out-numbered, but God delivers them. We come across many seemingly insurmountable obstacles in our journey of faith. In those times we feel like we have been defeated, but what we find instead is the Lord delivering us. In those times we need to allow God to do something special in our lives, just like the Israelites did. When we feel defeated we need to believe that God can, and will, carry us through to victory.
