Grace and peace to you from our Lord Jesus Christ.
Prayer should be heartfelt, not formulaic. Prayer is a time for us to come before God's thorne and lay everything at his feet. We are to be honest with God about what we want, how we are feeling, etc. Through Jesus we are blessed to have a personal relationship with God, to be able to come before God in prayer and talk to him about whatever is on our hearts. Hezekiah does that here. He prays to God from his heart. We should always do the same. God bless you.
