Luke 13: 10-17; Jesus Heals a Crippled Woman on the Sabbath

Grace and peace to you from our Lord Jesus Christ.

Doing good supercedes anything else in our lives. Helping others is, or should be, our main priority. We should let nothing, not even Sabbath laws in this case, get in the way of our helping someone who is in need. For us I think this applies more to cultural expectations. Is it cool to help a homeless person? Is it socially acceptable to volunteer in the soup kitchen? Not always, but we cannot let any of that stop us from helping those in need. Sabbath laws may not be a factor anymore, but 'social laws' do, and we must not let them keep us from doing Christ's will. God bless you.
