Grace and peace to you from our Lord Jesus Christ.
One of the things that stands out to me as I read through this book is the fact that God uses so many people to save Israel at one time or another. Shamgar, though we are told almost nothing about him, is used by God to deliver Israel in some way. The message in all of this is that God works in a lot of different ways, through a lot of different people. We need to keep our eyes, ears, and hearts open to the ways God can and will work in the world. He may be trying to work in our lives in a certain way, but we are, for whatever reason, unable to recognize it. God works. We need to be able to recognize him when he is working in our lives.
