Grace and peace to you from our Lord Jesus Christ.
Joseph's trust in the Lord has always astounded me. I'm sure, in the back of his mind, he may think he can protect his family. After all, he knows the area well. Surely he can hide somewhere where Herod will not find him. But when God calls Joseph to go to Egypt, Joseph does. He trusts that God is not going to lead him somewhere where his family will be harmed. Even though Joseph may think he can save his family himself he knows God knows best and he submits to God's will. We need to have trust like that. Yes, sometimes we can accomplish things ourselves. But we need to remember to trust God more, to rely on him more. God will take care of us, we just need to trust him. God bless you.
