Micah 1: 1-7; Judgment Against Samaria and Jerusalem

Grace and peace to you from our Lord Jesus Christ.

I think this passage is important for us because we need to remember that God does not like sin. Yes, we have been forgiven of all of our sins, even the sins we have not yet committed. But that does not mean we are free to live a sinful life. It does not mean that God is pleased with us when we sin. We do not need to fear punishment from God because of our sin. However, we do need to remember that even though we are forgiven for our sins we are still called to a life of holiness. We have been forgiven, but God still does not like for us to sin and go against his will. God bless you.
