"Beware, the Lord is about to take firm hold of you...' Now those words are meant for a specific person in this passage, but can they not also be applied to us as well. For many years now the world, as a whole, has kept God at an arm's length away. 'We don't need you,' we sometimes say to God. In these words we are reminded that we are not all that far away from God. We are reminded that God is strong enough to reach into our lives. And we are reminded that God has the desire for our lives to be right. If we continue down the road we are on, as a nation and as a world, God may just grab hold of us and move us down the right path, with us kicking and screaming if necessary.. God bless you.
