Luke 14: 25-35; The Cost of Being a Disciple

Grace and peace to you from our Lord Jesus Christ.

Following Jesus is not easy, and the reason is simple: to follow Jesus we must give 100%. We cannot be distracted by anything, even our own families. That is a tall order. We love our families, and it is important to be faithful to our families, but we do need to keep in mind that Jesus is to be our number one priority. While this may seem difficult try to keep in mind that God sacrificed his family, his son, for our sake. We are not supposed to sacrifice our families, but we are supposed to put God first in our lives. God bless you.
