Grace and peace to you from our Lord Jesus Christ.
All of this is contingent upon our faith. When we ask God for something in prayer we need to have faith that that thing for which we ask will come to us. Faith is a necessary part of prayer. We need to believe in God, and we need to believe in his faithfulness. We need to have faith that our prayers will be answered or they will not be. When Jesus went to his hometown he could not perform any miracles for the people because they did not believe. The same is true for us; if we have faith that God will answer us and give us what we need then he will. We need to have faith in the power of prayer, and the one to whom we pray. God bless you.
