Grace and peace to you from our Lord Jesus Christ.
We cannot plead ignorance when it comes to sin. We know what sin is, which means we are able to avoid. This is another mark in favor of holiness being something we can achieve. We know what we are supposed to do, and we know what we are not supposed to do. And because that is true we have an idea of what it takes to live a holy and righteous life. We also have Jesus with us giving us strength. What this means for us is that if we put forth the effort and rely on the power of Christ we are able to live the kind of life God wants us to live. Yes, we struggle with sin, but we have the power and presence of Jesus in our lives. We also know what God requires of us. With both of those pieces of knowledge we have what we need to live the kind of life God wants us to live. God bless you.
