Grace and peace to you from our Lord Jesus Christ.
We have been set free. Sin used to have a very strong hold on our hearts. Humanity used to serve sin and sin alone. Through Jesus we have been freed; the bonds of sin have been broken. Now we serve God, rather than our own desires. That is the work of Jesus. He came here to break the bonds of sin, to set us free from our life of slavery. This is good news for us. We are no longer subject to any thing, or any force, but God. Sin no longer has any power over us. Its power has been shattered by Jesus. Thank God that in Christ Jesus we have been set free.
